Amadio Vineyard, Kersbrook, Adelaide Hills

La Prova Uno Fiano is  made from the first little pilot block planted in the Adelaide Hills in 2005. Grown by Caj and Genny Amadio in their Kersbrook vineyard, at the warmer, drier northern end of the ‘Hills. Sandy loam soils over weathered schist. While there is some yummy fruit this is all about the sublime textural palate.

Winemaking Notes

Hand-picked, whole bunch pressed directly to old French oak puncheons for wild ferment and a few months resting on lees. Unfined and unfiltered. Vegan Friendly. 64 dozen produced. Bottled in September 2024.
